iFiles is built around a simple idea: your files are yours. The app does not collect, store, sell or transmit your personal data. There are no accounts, no servers and no trackers.

Your files

All files you manage in iFiles are stored locally on your device, inside the app's own storage. We operate no servers and have no access to your files.

Wi-Fi Transfer

Wi-Fi Transfer runs a small web server on your device, reachable only from your local network. Files travel directly between your devices and never pass through the internet or any external server. The server stops when you turn it off or leave the app.

Vault

Vault files are hidden from the normal file list and protected by Face ID / your device passcode. Biometric authentication is handled entirely by iOS — the app never sees or stores biometric data.

Camera & photos

iFiles asks for camera access only for document scanning, and photo library access only to import or save files. Scanning, metadata cleanup and markup all happen on your device.

Purchases

Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment details.

Analytics & ads

iFiles contains no third-party analytics, no advertising SDKs and no trackers.

Children's privacy

iFiles is not directed at children under 13, and since the app collects no personal data at all, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If this policy ever changes, the update will be posted on this page.
